Frequently Asked Questions

1 GB = 1,024 MB = 1,048,576 KB = 1,073,741,824 bytes.

So if you have a page of 1 KB this (theoretically) can be loaded 1,048,576 times within 1 GB.
Just before you go over the data traffic limit of your account, you will automatically receive an email with a warning.

When you actually go over the limit this happens yet again. At this time we raise your limit temporarily.

On the next bill you will see the additional data traffic (rounded up to the number of GBs). The cost of this can be found on the page with the webhostingplans.
Data traffic is the stream data that is generated by your website. If someone views an image, page or downloads a file from your website, this is counted as data traffic.

But even if you upload something to the server, if you receive or send an email, this also counts as data traffic!
