Our Virtual Private Servers are based on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The server, network and availability are offered as a service.

The difference between a VPS and a VDS are the specifications. The specs of a VDS are equivalent to an Enterprise dedicated server. With a regular VPS there is a (small) part that is reserved from the entire server. We recommend a VDS if you need the extra capacity and scalability that comes with a dedicated server or VPS.

Each type of VPS/VDS has its own (kernel) environment, regardless of the size. Your server and data is completely separated from other virtual servers.

KVM console

You always have console access to your VPS via our Client Area. This allows you to reach your VPS when you no longer have access via SSH or Windows RDC.

KVM virtualisatie

Our hypervisors are based on KVM. Each VPS runs in a completely protected environment on the hypervisor without shared software or kernel. This makes your VPS a virtualized Dedicated Server.

Backup

Your VPS is automatically backed up by us every week. We keep this backup as a disaster recovery for you. You can make backups yourself. Snapshots or file-backup.
