Sort folders by size
When a hard disk starts to get full, or when you use more diskspace than expected/allowed, it can be useful to show folders in SSH ordered by size. With the following SSH command you can do this:
du -sm * | sort -nr | more
Please note, that this loops through the complete folder. When it has a lot of subfolders and/or files, generating this overview can take a long.
